Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems across our Chandler area sites. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety components to ensure peak performance and compliance.

You will also oversee preventative maintenance, monitor contractor work, and maintain inventory while adapting to varying conditions and shifts to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze operation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (i.e. Corrigo).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Physical ability to access equipment components for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building systems to meet standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust parameters to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor outside contractors' work for quality and cost control.
• Maintain facility services, inventory, and maintenance coordination.
• Conduct inventory checks of tools and instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting and plumbing systems as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and workspace.
