Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to support maintenance and repair operations within a government facilities environment. You will operate, maintain, and repair critical base building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, multi-tasking, and the ability to manage priorities while keeping building occupants safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in electrical or HVAC trade preferred.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform PPE-driven safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair base building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety).
• Coordinate with contractors and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor performance and maintain efficient operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
