Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a Construction Control Representative to support on-site quality assurance at Dyess AFB. The role requires monitoring contractor performance, ensuring contract compliance, and verifying construction quality from pre-construction through closeout.

The candidate will inspect activities, review submittals, attend project meetings, and assist with RFIs, evaluations, and payment processes while maintaining documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; higher degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in large, complex construction projects.
• Familiar with DoD/USACE/USA...

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for contract compliance and quality.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities and contractor performance.
• Monitor schedules and notify project team of delays or issues.
• Review submittals including drawings, QC plans, safety plans, environmental plans, certifications.
• Process RFIs and coordinate with designers, engineers and stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract compliance.
• Conduct QA inspections across all construction phases and verify three-phase QC.
• Assist with scopes of work, estimates, modifications and technical evaluations.
• Review payment requests and verify quantities and material storage.
• Ensure OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance and site-specific safety plans.
• Maintain project records, logs, reports, and correspondence.
• Support meetings, reviews, and site visits; assist closeout and warranty tracking.
