Job summary
Indotronix is seeking a Data Center Service Engineer in Southaven, MS to provide on-site hardware support for Dell PowerEdge servers. You will diagnose, repair, and replace server components, perform BIOS updates, and work with Dell iDRAC and other management tools.
The role requires hands-on data center experience, strong troubleshooting, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You'll join a long-term contract to hire arrangement with daytime hours and occasional on-call shifts, traveling not
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
- Experience troubleshooting components (memory, CPUs, power supplies, RAID/HBA, NICs, fans).
- Experience with rack-mounted servers in data center or customer environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and enterprise servers.
- Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
- Perform hardware installation, removal, and cabling.
- Triage BIOS/firmware issues and use server management tools.
- Document service activities and resolutions.
- Communicate status with customers and internal teams.
