Job summary

Unisys is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain server hardware in data centers, field service, or customer environments, with a focus on Dell PowerEdge and related components.

3+ years of hands-on server hardware experience is required, along with proficiency in BIOS/firmware, iDRAC, Linux, and on-site servicing.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers, data center hardware, or similar infrastructure.
Direct, hands-on experience physically working on server hardware: installing, removing, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing server components.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures and system issues to minimize downtime.
Perform rack-and-stack, server installation, cabling, component swaps, and hardware configuration.
Troubleshoot server hardware, BIOS/firmware, OS, and diagnostics; perform firmware updates.
Document service activities, replacements, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Escalate complex issues when needed; assist with on-call rotations as required.
