Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure. You will perform rack-and-stack, BIOS updates, diagnostics, and maintenance on Dell PowerEdge servers, coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Travel to customer sites and on-call coverage are required. Strong problem-solving and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on enterprise server and data center hardware experience.
Direct, hands-on work on server hardware including installation, diagnosis, repair, or replacement.
Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, fans, GPUs.
Experience with rack-mounted enterprise servers in data center, field service, or customer environment.
Familiarity with Linux or similar OS and hardware diagnostics.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites; on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
Perform hardware installation, removal, cabling, and component swaps.
Update firmware/BIOS and use server management tools.
Document service activities and communicate with customers.
