Job summary

Unisys is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers in data centers, field service, or customer sites.

You will perform rack-and-stack, hardware installation, BIOS/firmware updates, and troubleshooting across operating systems and diagnostics, while

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers or data center hardware.
Direct, hands-on work on server hardware (installation, removal, diagnosis, repair).
Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, PCIe components, GPUs.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
Perform hardware installation, removal, and repair including components listed above.
Rack-and-stack, server installation, cabling, and hardware configuration.
Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, OS, and hardware diagnostics issues.
Update firmware/BIOS and use server management tools like iDRAC.
Work with customers and teams during service events and document actions.
