Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support on-site quality assurance at Dyess AFB.

You will monitor contractor performance, ensure contract compliance, verify construction quality, and assist from pre-construction through closeout in a DoD environment. The role requires DoD/USACE project experience, strong documentation and communication skills, and the ability to obtain access to military installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years supporting large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction (DoD/USACE) preferred.
• Experience inspecting construction quality, schedules, and contract compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety, and quality.
• Document daily site activities using RMS and PM systems.
• Monitor schedules and advise engineers and COR of delays or issues.
• Review submittals, QC plans, safety and environmental plans, and progress schedules.
• Process RFIs and coordinate with designers, engineers and stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, and contract issues.
• Conduct QA inspections across all phases of construction and verify three-phase QC.
• Assist with scopes of work, government estimates, contract mods, and technical evaluations.
• Review payment requests and help prepare estimates for partial/final payments.
• Ensure OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance and site safety plans.
• Maintain project records, logs, reports, photos, and correspondence.
• Support meetings, reviews, and site visits; assist closeout activities.
