Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support on-site activities at Dyess AFB, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and contract compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

You will inspect workmanship, review submittals and RFIs, and coordinate with the Resident Engineer and project team while maintaining thorough documentation and safety compliance on the air force installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• DoD/USACE/AF project experience preferred.
• Inspects construction quality, schedules, contractor performance, and contract compliance.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, shop drawings, and specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for contract and safety compliance.
• Perform daily site inspections and document progress and safety observations.
• Monitor schedules and advise project team of potential delays or issues.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and contract documentation for accuracy.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract issues.
• Maintain project records, logs, and inspection documentation.
• Support closeout activities, punch lists, turnover, and warranties.
