Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at a residential community. The role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and the ability to train staff, manage budgets, and drive leasing performance.

The position is on-site, with responsibilities across all property operations, including budgeting, reporting, and serving residents and owners. A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of multi-family management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills; Proficient in MS Office Suite and property management software

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, conducting candidate interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing, safety, and daily operations
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and variance reporting within +/-10%
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and requests
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt response to service requests
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards for resident service
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing on leasing strategies
• Follow eviction procedures and court representation as needed
• Manage client/owner relationships through meetings and property tours
