Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at an apartment community. The role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and effective communication to lead staff, manage budgets, and drive occupancy and revenue goals.

The position is onsite in Florida with a focus on delivering top-tier customer service and maintaining high standards of property operations and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 1–2 years relevant experience) or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Team player and professional with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, conducts interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and performance reviews.
• Drive team to meet performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training on leasing, safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting with variance analysis.
• Enhance resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service requests are completed.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold resident service standards.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing on leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court proceedings as needed.
• Manage owner relationships with updates and property tours.
