Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a multi-family community. You will lead staff, recruit, onboard, train, and conduct performance reviews, driving service standards and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience, plus 3+ years in multi-family property management, with strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and property software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, conduct interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments.
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities to boost morale and productivity.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and provide monthly variance reporting within +/-10% per item.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt responses and completion of service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards for resident service.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing to implement leasing strategies to reach occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures as required.
• Manage client/owner relationships with updates and tours.
