Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee one apartment community, lead staff, and manage operations. The role requires strong resident relations, leadership, and professional communication.

You will collaborate with maintenance, marketing, and HR to meet occupancy, revenue, and service goals. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of related experience, plus 3+ years in multi-family property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience; combination acceptable.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, oversee onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments.
• Drive team to meet performance targets and manage disciplinary actions with HR support.
• Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate staff through recognition, training, and team-building activities to boost morale.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting with variance analysis within ±10%.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service requests per company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding high resident-service standards.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing to set leasing strategies to reach occupancy/revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures and coordinate court proceedings when needed.
• Meet with owners, provide updates, and maintain positive owner relations.
