Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities, and ensure regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role requires regular on-site presence, staff coaching, and development, with a focus on delivering strong net operating income through cost control and revenue enhancements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to use on-site software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations of a housing community.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Prepare yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.
• Lead emergency team and ensure rapid response to property issues.
