Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

The role focuses on resident satisfaction, staff development, and effective resource management to maximize NOI and maintain property standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to use on-site software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community and staff under Regional Manager supervision.
• On-site leader responsible for personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, admin and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, fair housing and liability guidelines.
• Manage staff schedules, training, coaching, and performance documentation.
• Develop marketing plans, lease strategies, and resident retention programs.
• Monitor financials: income, expenses, budgeting, rent deposits, and vendor invoices.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry

CAM or ARM preferred
