Job summary

Asset Living seeks an experienced Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under regional supervision. You will lead personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk management while ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, drive leasing performance, and coordinate emergencies with staff. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management on-site.
• Supervise property staff to ensure policy compliance, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financial reporting.
• Drive leasing strategies, show and lease units, and address resident concerns.
• Coordinate emergency response with staff and residents to minimize liability.

Education
