Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee housing community operations on-site under Regional Manager supervision. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

duties include staff supervision, budget development, and leasing strategies while ensuring top-notch resident service and property appearance. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years' experience in housing.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor the timely receipt and reconciliation of deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Monitor the timely receipt, reconciliation, and coding of all vendor invoices.
• Plan yearly marketing and leasing strategies to drive occupancy and retention.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
