Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing and maintenance, and drive financial performance while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include budgeting, marketing plans, leasing closures, and resident relations. This role requires leadership, a focus on service quality, and the ability to respond to emergencies promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise all staff to ensure compliance with Asset policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections and charges for timely processing and accuracy.
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Head emergency team for the property and coordinate with staff, residents and vendors.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience
