Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff across leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting abilities, and a focus on resident satisfaction through effective leasing and retention strategies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite operations of a housing community under Regional Manager.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections and charges; ensure timely submissions.
• Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely property closeouts.

Education
