Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the complete operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budget, and risk, while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will develop marketing plans, monitor rent collection, and coordinate maintenance with a focus on resident satisfaction and retention. This role requires strong leadership and financial acumen in a fast-growing real estate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise all on-site staff and leasing activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financial reports for accuracy.
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Handle resident concerns and ensure timely service requests and maintenance improvements.
