Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the entire operations of a housing community on-site. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while driving leasing, budgeting, and resident satisfaction.

You will manage daily office and maintenance activities, develop annual budgets, and coordinate marketing plans to maximize occupancy and NOI. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Supervise all on-site staff, provide coaching, and develop the team.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Strategic Leasing Management and Develop yearly marketing plan.
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in closing leases and reporting systems are accurate.
• Deal with resident complaints and implement retention programs.
