Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management.

As on-site leader, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and safety standards, and drive the net operating income through cost control and leasing improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections and charges to ensure timely deposits.
• Monitor vendor invoices and reconciliation.
• Ensure property closout is complete and financial reports are accurate.
• Lead emergency team for the property and manage on-call issues.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through programs and events.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents.
