Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financials, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires on-site leadership, budgeting, and strong resident relations, with a focus on achieving NOI goals while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entire operations of a housing community on site under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and marketing plans.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance, leases, reporting, and emergencies in line with company policies.
