Job summary

Now Optics is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead our in-store clinical team and partner with the Brand Manager to drive patient care standards. You will supervise staff, ensure HIPAA-compliant record keeping, and coach Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, refraction, and contact lens care while pursuing store sales goals.

You will train, coach and mentor team members, act as Manager on Duty when needed, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail management or clinical leadership experience.
• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a related program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional patient care and willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Familiarity with MS Word and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store team to meet clinical goals with guidance from the Clinical Operations Department.
• Occasionally act as Manager on Duty to achieve overall store goals and support operations and sales.
• Greet patients on entry, identify needs, and inform them about products and services.
• Drive sales to meet daily, weekly and monthly revenue targets while delivering excellent service.
• Coach Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, and contact lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols and certification requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Uphold store brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Coach on proper insertion/removal of contact lenses and manage inventory weekly.
• Oversee ordering of patient contact lenses and diagnostic lens inventory.
