Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team in an on-site role in Denver, CO. The position oversees all building systems, safety, and operations, while managing budgets and coordinating with clients and property teams.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related experience in engineering leadership, a Universal CFC EPA certification, and strong people-management and communication skills. This is an on-site, full-time role with comprehensive facilities benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in engineering leadership.
• Universal CFC EPA certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems.
• Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training, coaching and personal development.
• Create and routinely update a documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance procedures.
• Participate in client-facing and property team communications.
• Lead, create and manage engineering budget and participate in the overall operating budget process.
• Assist in developing a capital improvement plan.
