Job summary

Wolfoods in the United States is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a busy summer camp. This on-site, live-in position oversees all prep, production, and allergen safety for designated day parts.

You will lead kitchen staff, ensure scratch cooking standards, manage inventory and reporting, and act as a liaison between campers and camp leadership. A demanding 6-day, 70-hour week with competitive pay and benefits awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; proficient with iPad.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary flow, portion control, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety and health department sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory management and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
