Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a rural summer camp. This seasonal contract runs May–September with a demanding, 6‑day/70‑hour week, and includes full room and board plus travel allowances.

You will lead kitchen staff, ensure scratch cooking standards, manage allergens, and coordinate with camp leadership to deliver high-quality meals across designated day parts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in kitchen leadership roles with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory management and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
