Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a seasonal summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, supervise staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, with a minimum 6 days and 70 hours per week. Benefits include competitive pay, a performance bonus, free room and board, and travel allowance.

Formación

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
