Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead day-part prep, supervise staff, and ensure allergen safety at a busy on-site summer camp. This is a live-in, high-volume role with a seasonal contract (May–Sept).

You will manage inventory, uphold sanitation, and coordinate with camp leadership while living on-site in rustic camp facilities. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in kitchen leadership and ServSafe Allergens certification; you must be able to stand long hours and lift

Competenze

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership and ability to train staff.
• Able to stand for long periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
