Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and work on-site at hotels.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, basic troubleshooting, and teamwork with hotel staff and vendors. A high school diploma is required; audiovisual experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike basic audiovisual equipment per event requirements.
• Ensure flawless event execution through timely setup and teardown.
• Assist guests on site and communicate effectively to meet needs.
• Coordinate with staff and outside vendors for equipment and paperwork.
• Assist with invoicing and equipment scheduling using Navigator as needed.
