Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution. You will communicate with clients on-site, troubleshoot equipment and software issues, and handle event-related paperwork, invoicing, and Vendor coordination.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to work irregular hours

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure a flawless event.
• Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers and maintains positive client relationships.
• Communicates effectively with clients, monitors events, and ensures equipment works properly on site.
• Completes required system entries and paperwork accurately, coordinates with vendors, and helps finalize invoices.
