Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure events run smoothly, meet on-site needs, and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.

The role requires basic troubleshooting, adherence to procedures, and accurate paperwork completion. Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience and some AV exposure; a high school diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license may be required for company vehicle operation.
Complete training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
Ensure events run smoothly through accurate setup, operation and breakdown.
Exceed internal and external customer expectations with proactive service.
Maintain client relationships through effective on-site communication.
Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
