Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure flawless events through accurate setup, operation, and teardown, working closely with clients to confirm equipment functions and satisfaction.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, hospitality or customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. It is an on-site, hourly position with potential overtime and shift variations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for team members who operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed client needs and maintain positive relationships with guests and clients on site.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues and communicate effectively with event partners.
