Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure flawless event execution and strong guest satisfaction through proactive communication and on-site service.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver's license. Training and certification requirements apply per Encore’s program. On-site, full-time hours with potential for irregular schedules.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots basic audiovisual equipment for events in a hospitality setting.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by exceeding client expectations and maintaining strong relationships on site.
• Follows procedures, completes system entries, and coordinates with vendors for equipment needs.
• Uses equipment sheets to schedule setup/strike and works with clients to finalize invoices.
