Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and contribute to a seamless event experience.

The role emphasizes equipment handling, client communication, and on-site collaboration with hotel teams. A High School Diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred, plus relevant customer service or AV experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required and an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues.
• Accurately complete systems entry, equipment sheets, and invoicing support.
