Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction by meeting on-site needs, testing equipment, and coordinating with clients and vendors.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, some AV exposure, and a willingness to learn. Occasionally you may lift up to 50 lbs and drive as needed for events at hotel partner locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceeds customer expectations and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Completes system entry and paperwork accurately; communicates with clients and vendors as needed.
