Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hotel environments, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will assist with equipment, coordinate with clients, and resolve basic technical issues to keep events running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience, and AV exposure. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; some training and DOT requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
• Understands company processes, follows procedures, and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately.
