Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to partner with on‑premise locations and drive volume and distribution for our diverse spirits brands. You will craft growth solutions, lead brand-building efforts and coordinate with distributors to hit KPI targets.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of field sales in alcohol/CPG, strong data analytics skills and the ability to travel. A valid driver's license, flexible schedule and state compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1+ year field sales in alcohol/beverage or CPG; internships for new grads.
• Results-driven with proven volume and distribution achievements.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results.
• Mobility: valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours; territorial location required.
• Compliance: solicitor’s permit as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost market share.
• Build brands by educating customers with trend insights and category data.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Support volume objectives for core brands across the portfolio.
• Design and implement distribution, merchandising and promotional programs.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Communicate effectively between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
