Job summary

Virginia Lottery is seeking an On-Premise Sales Consultant to expand our retailer network and drive sales of lottery products in the Harrisonburg/Charlottesville region. The role requires evening/weekend shifts and a focus on recruiting retailers such as restaurants and bars, plus training them on promotions and merchandise.

The ideal candidate has on-premise sales experience (CPG a plus), territory management skills, and the ability to manage inventories and tablet-based orders.

Qualifications

• On-Premise sales experience preferred.
• Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience preferred.
• Experience in sales, marketing and merchandising programs; training; territory management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow an on-premise retailer network (restaurants, bars) via cold-calling and recruitment.
• Territory management and retailer training on products and promotions.
• Scratcher ordering using a tablet; inventory management and merchandising.
• Implement and monitor retailer incentive and promotional programs; evaluate performance.
