About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with flexible scheduling based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. You will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app. Regular engagement is required, including responding to contact attempts and working at least one shift every 4 weeks (or 5 months starting December 2024) to maintain employment. Attendance, communication, and flexibility are essential.

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest experience
• Create a welcoming environment for guests
• Observe and assist guests based on body language and verbal cues
• Engage with guests to understand their needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests effectively
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality
• Promote Target’s loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups
• Support order pick-up, Drive Up, and other guest services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety, ethical conduct, and compliance policies
• Support cash handling and other store operations as needed

• Remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts
