ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, and responding to our contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary; you must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If unable to meet this, flexibility can be granted due to personal circumstances, but responsiveness to contact attempts is required. Effective December 2024, you must work at least once within 5 months or face termination.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule is mandatory. Afterward, shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest expectations through interaction and recovery. They are knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that promote guest loyalty, and are empowered to make shopping quick and easy.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional guest service
  • Greeting guests authentically
  • Understanding guest needs through body language and communication
  • Engaging genuinely and asking questions
  • Being knowledgeable about products, services, and store tools
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Minimizing wait times while maintaining service quality
  • Promoting loyalty programs and assisting with sign-ups
  • Supporting order pick-up, Drive Up, and registry services
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Following safety, conduct, and compliance policies
  • Supporting cash operations and other duties as needed
