About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule based on store needs and shift availability. This role allows you to create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts regularly is required, with a minimum of once every 4 weeks (or 5 months from December 2024). Communication and responsiveness are essential, as employment may be terminated if these are not maintained.

Upon being offered this role, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and participation in a short-term training schedule are required. Afterward, shifts can be selected through the myTime app.

Service & Engagement

This role involves welcoming guests, exceeding service expectations, and promoting store services and benefits to foster guest loyalty. Knowledgeable advocates ensure quick, easy, and enjoyable shopping experiences, both in-store and digitally.

Skills & Responsibilities

As a Guest Advocate, your typical day includes:

• Delivering exceptional guest service and greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation
• Using knowledge of store products, services, and technology to assist guests
• Handling transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Supporting store operations, including order pickup, drive-up, and returns
• Partnering with leaders to resolve guest concerns and de-escalate issues
