Job summary
GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks a reliable Tech Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for Operations facilities in Robbinsville, NJ. The role covers end-user devices, printers, networking, and OT environments with defined SOPs and on-call rotations.
The candidate will troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues, support onboarding, and ensure ticketing SLAs are met. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
- Imaging, deployment, and maintenance of laptops/desktops.
- Printer troubleshooting and basic networking understanding.
- Experience with Windows 11 and Linux operating systems.
- Experience working in a ticketing system environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktop systems.
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues and follow SOPs.
- Handle end-user onboarding and workstation setup activities.
- Diagnose and resolve printer issues and perform basic networking troubleshooting.
- Respond to tickets within SLA and participate in on-call rotations as required.
