GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support for Operations facilities in Maryland. You will image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, support Windows 11 and Linux, and troubleshoot hardware, OS, and applications while following SOPs and SLAs.
The role requires strong customer service and the ability to work independently, plus on-call shifts.
Formación
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
- Image, configure, deploy and maintain laptops and desktops.
- Printer troubleshooting and support experience.
- Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows 11 and Linux operating systems.
- Experience working within a ticketing system environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsabilidades
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktop systems.
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues and support onboarding.
- Diagnose and resolve printer issues and network-connected printers.
- Perform basic networking troubleshooting and cabling checks.
- Respond to equipment failures and restore service per SOPs.
- Support asset management and equipment lifecycle activities.
- Work tickets and service requests within SLA; participate in CM activities.
