Verland is hiring a Residential Manager to oversee care operations at our CLA division, located in Squirrel Hill, PA. The role includes training, scheduling, and supervising direct care workers, ensuring high-quality care and compliance across shifts.

The position requires on-call availability 24/7, with responsibilities spanning incident reporting, program supervision, staff development, and adherence to HIPAA policies. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's in Education is preferred.
• Experience in human services and residential care is valued.
• Must understand residential practices and ID/DD populations.
• Excellent communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day home operations across all shifts.
• Direct and supervise direct care staff and programs.
• Monitor goals and report findings to supervisors.
• Ensure safety, well-being, and regulatory compliance.
• Train and supervise new direct care staff.
• Manage schedules, budgets, expenses, and payroll.
• Document incidents and maintain thorough records.
• Ensure dietary plans and menus are followed.
