Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc., Washington, PA, is hiring a Residential Manager to oversee training, scheduling, and supervision of direct care workers across assigned homes, ensuring high quality care and regulatory compliance on a 24/7 on-call, salaried basis.

This leadership role emphasizes safety, documentation, and effective coordination with program staff, residents, and community partners to deliver consistent services within the CLA division while modeling professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be able/willing to be on-call 24/7.
• Must possess a working knowledge of residential practices.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be certified in First Aid and CPR.
• Experience in Human Services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the home and ensures activities are carried out and documented.
• Plans, organizes, and directs home operations and care programs.
• Supervises staff and ensures implementation of individual programs.
• Monitors safety and well-being of residents and reports findings to supervisors.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and maintains proper records.
• Trains and supervises new staff and participates in evaluation processes.
