Job summary

Verland is seeking a Residential Manager in Bethel Park, PA to lead direct care staff and oversee daily operations across 24/7 shifts. The role includes training, scheduling, and ensuring high standards of care and documentation for residents with developmental disabilities.

You will monitor safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with Program Specialists while maintaining quality care and staff performance. The position is salaried and exempt, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; BA preferred.
• Willing to be on-call 24/7.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• First Aid/CPR certification and state clearances.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the home to ensure programs and activities are carried out and documented across all shifts.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the home operations; reinforces care hierarchy and agency expectations.
• Supervises staff and ensures implementation of individual programs; monitors goals and reports findings to leadership.
• Maintains safety of individuals; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations; handles incident reporting and documentation.
• Trains and supervises newly hired direct care staff; ensures dietary needs are followed and groceries are managed.
