Job summary

Verland in Squirrel Hill, PA seeks a Residential Manager to supervise direct care workers, train staff, schedule shifts, and ensure compliance and safety across 24/7 homes. The role is salaried and exempt with on-call requirements.

You will oversee daily operations, document care plans, monitor incidents, manage budgets, and coordinate with health services while maintaining HIPAA compliance and quality standards. A strong background in human services and supportive leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care or human services environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise Direct Support Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the home and ensures activities are carried out and documented across shifts.
• Plans and directs operations of the house and reinforces care standards.
• Supervises staff and ensures implementation of individual programs and safety procedures.
• Maintains accurate incident reporting and documentation; handles disciplinary procedures as needed.
