Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of our garden-style community. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and cleanliness across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

You will handle make-ready tasks for vacants, manage tools and inventory, and document work orders. This role requires EPA refrigerant certification and a valid driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling is required.
• State and local certifications as required for all technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Carry out make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials, tools, and inventory; report reorder needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately to ensure traceability.
• Assist in grounds/amenities upkeep and perform general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
