Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical standards of Greystar properties. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing building systems, completing make-ready tasks for vacant units, managing materials, and documenting work orders.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and compliance with safety policies. The position supports grounds and common area upkeep, and may involve occasional travel and flexible hours,

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair defects in building systems following policy, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute make-ready process for vacants: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, schedule vendors, obtain materials, complete tasks and inspect work.
• Follow procedures to access materials, track inventory, return unused items, and inform supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation to accurately track service requests.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible and proper use of tools.
